Life and Career Design Institute
Life requires more than one path to success. The Life and Career Design Institute empowers students to build the skills to navigate challenges and grow through every phase of their life and career.
Your gift helps students to:
- Design Their Path: Connect courses, personal interests, values and desired lifestyle to real-world career possibilities.
- Test and Explore: Gain hands-on experience through internships, leadership roles, and other opportunities that let them explore potential career paths.
- Build Connections: Access alumni and employers who provide guidance and open doors to opportunities.
Student Impact
Launched in 2024 with $3M in seed funding, the Life and Career Design Institute secured over 100 young alumni career mentorship opportunities in its first year alone. Your gift will help ensure every Wheaton student has the mentorship, experiences and connections to design a career—and a life—that is uniquely their own.
My fieldwork with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund helped me bridge biology with the human aspect, giving me clear direction for my career.

Scholarship and Aid
Financial barriers should never stand in the way of a Wheaton education. Through the All Together Now campaign, we provide direct aid so every admitted student can attend and remain enrolled through graduation.

National Recognition

Wheaton is also Massachusetts’ only First Scholars institution, recognized for our commitment to advancing the outcomes of first-generation students. Your gift to the Scholarship and Aid Fund directly empowers all admitted students to reach their full potential.
The Critical Retention Fund helped alleviate significant financial challenges, allowing me to stay in school, pursue a global health career, and give back.

Results in Action
